"Fear...is born of a story we tell ourselves." Are you ready for a new story? Wild is Cheryl Strayed's memoir of love and loss, fear and finding herself on an 1,100-mile solo trek along the Pacific Coast Trail. Join us to discuss the book one reviewer described as "loose and sexy and dark as an early Lucinda Williams song." Strayed wrote the movie version with Nick Hornby; it is directed by Jean-Marc Vallee (Dallas Buyer's Club), stars Reese Witherspoon, and comes out December 5th. You KNOW you're going to want to read the book and hash out the story before the movie version hits theaters!
We are organizing groups throughout the Bay Area, but we are limited by the number of hostesses who volunteer. If your area is full, please consider hosting a small group of 6-10 Yale women. Contact us at ywnorcal@gmail.com so we can help coordinate attendees.
Book Night is intended to be after dinner get-togethers. Please plan accordingly!
